Sledfest 2012 (by mraaronmorris)
It was fun while it lasted, but I’m also glad it’s gone. It’s a bright sunny day today.

That particular block of Denny was so popular, there is still trash strewn all over the place from the giant sled parties that happened Wednesday and Thursday.

I can’t wait to have kids.

*Erin points at the picture*: You can’t wait to have kids?  You can’t wait to have kids because of a kid boxing a dog?
Whit: Not exclusively.

Called my Senator

No voicemail messages necessary.  I immediately got through to a person who took my polite message of opposition and thanked me for it.

Tried to call my Representative

His voicemail box was full.  Good sign?

Sometimes when Lillian is asleep, she stretches her front legs and then hugs herself.

Every damn time I get teary with the adorableness of this.

I am 19 months late to this @dantelfer clip, but I am compelled to share it with you all the same.

In 2006, actor Stephen Fry received a letter from a girl struggling with depression. This was his response.

This is why Stephen Fry is one of my heroes.

A fantastic human being.

You’ve probably seen this, but you also probably can’t see it enough.

“When we put the antlers on the model and then draped over it the lace embroidery that we had made, we had to poke them through a £2,000 piece of work. But then it worked because it looks like she’s rammed the piece of lace with her antlers. There’s always spontaneity. You’ve got to allow for that in my shows.”
Dress, Widows of Culloden, autumn/winter 2006–7

I usually don’t like fashion, as in “things designers say are good” rather than “things I think look good” - but this looks amazing and the antlers are great.

I don’t know why, but I seem to have had this in my drafts folder forever.  I think it’s cool, and I don’t know why I didn’t publish it at the time?
